David Wise is at it again with his killer atmospherics! He brings the full package of traditional instruments that weave together into brilliant backings for a fantasy-stylized adventure.rThough some tracks fall more into courting for fans of the overall series. The title theme and the Arwing section themes immediately come to mind, carrying similar motifs as expressed in Starfox 64.rWhen he isn't doing this however, he settles down and lets the atmosphere do the talking, very similar to a Zelda game (which this game is heavily inspired by). The best example of this would be, without a doubt, the Krazoa Palace theme. The sparse, quiet percussion and empty, echoing flutes and occasional piercing strings are your sole companions in your treks through the mostly deserted Krazoa Palace.rOverall, while a different take on a Starfox soundtrack (and a Starfox game as a whole), David Wise was the perfect choice to compose for this game, and how fitting for Rare's swansong to Nintendo.
