i really had high hopes for this one. maybe sean was finally going to put out a decent fucking
album after bounce back and moves. i was expecting bangers all the way through without the corny
shit that made him one of the whackest acts in current hip hop. sadly, that's exactly what you're
going to get here. either that or tracks like owe which resemble drake waaay too much. even eminem
was badly implemented here, with him being way over the beat to the point it sounds like a
freestyle (dope rapey verse tho lol). the only legit good track here outside of the singles imo
was the one with migos, sacrifice. that shit was fire, man. why can't he stay in that fuckin lane
instead of being in the cornfield all the time? 2.0

Very underwhelming. Big Sean has become one of those rappers who makes good singles and extremely dissapointing albums. Its frustrating because the production on here is great. Sean just can't measure up to it.

Production wise, this is Big Sean's best album to date. Unfortunately, this album still has the
corny punchlines and boring flows that make Big Sean albums tedious. When I first heard the lead
off single, Bounce Back, I was hoping Sean would finally take steps to become the rapper he's
capable of being. The end result is a forgettable, piss poor concept album that's only decent.
(This album also bites off Drake HARD)

That's it. Big Sean finally decided that he was alright with contributing wholly average lyrical
endeavors that seem completely undeserving of the generally spectacular beats that he chooses.
Perfectly good sleeping music right here.

Bites off so much from Drake it's crazy. "Light" literally uses the sample from an early song Logic did called "Can I
Love" on his debut mixtape, and "No Favors" heavily is influenced by Bryson Tiller's "Rambo". So much
derivation from major powerhouses in the rap game on this one. Love the production, it's just extremely
unoriginal.
