Truly a fantastic album, and certainly one of 2017's finest albums. In a way it reminds me of Novembre's excellent "Ursa" record from last year, if only because of how passionate and otherworldly the listening experience feels. That said, the uplifting vocals and unique rhythm section work here have such an alluring charm, it's hard to detach yourself from the soundscape. Every song has its own little twist, but Les Irreals Visions details a transcendent style throughout which is hard for many bands to master. Hard to pick a highlight here, but I would say that "Altars", "Encenalls de Mort" and "Espectres al Cau" are some of the best examples of what Foscor do best on this album.

Definitely reminds me of Novembre around the time of "The Blue." This is a little more expansive, atmospheric, and melancholy, but essentially this and "The Blue" are cut from the same cloth.
