Looking at Sherm you'd think he'd be the last dude on earth to be the sonic architect (in tandem with Gud, of course) of some of the best and most unique cloud rap the genre has to offer, but the world is a strange place. Innocence demonstrates production skills that are deeply honed, effortlessly mixing crystalline ambient atmospheres with addicting little melodies and thick bass, along with some excellent sampling work. Out of this project, "Frozen" is a definite banger, and the title-track along with "Sometimes When I Can't Sleep" showcase layers of delicately crafted melodies and ambiance. With abilities such as these along with a large dose of ambition, it's no secret as to why Yung Sherman is one of the more interesting and most quality beatmakers in the game, and Innocence surely reminds one that they should keep their eye on him and his close associates in the near future.
