3.0 good | Bedex | November 10th 20 | This is vastly superior to the LP, and not just because it benefits from being shorter. There are more good riffs, more jazziness, it just feels a bit more prog in a nice way. The shreddiness is down a bit in 1's (first half especially) and in 2, but 3 bar a few sections is practically as shreddy as the LP. The break midtrack on 2 is quite cool but almost instantly ruined by a shreddy solo. Plus they still have lots of questionable vocal sections. So yeah it is vastly better, but I can't decently say it is above a 3.0 anyway given I have no intention to come back to it, so I suppose the rating won't be that much higher. 2.9

4.0 excellent | GamamJ | October 14th 20 | Brought by Pain take their semi-generic debut and add way more personality in the form of jazzy interludes and more time-hops. The neiclassical melodies also sound more unique. Overall better songwriting and just peak tech-death.
