Traditional metal with some epic tendencies that might bring to mind Warlord, Iron Maiden or Diamond Head on the more groovy and dynamic moments. Overall, the songwriting is good but the lack of originality should warrant perfect execution in order for an album such as this one to be special. However, this is an enjoyable listen for any '80s metal enthusiast.
