The songwriting has been tightened up and much of the twangy, Metalcore sound has been cleared out to make way for
increased clean vocals and melody.rUnfortunately, they jam the first half of the album with their best songs which makes
the second half the weaker of the two.
There is also a piano ballad that sounds cringe on paper but actually works out quite well as the topic of a friend with
cancer is covered.
Overall, a good effort from fellow Melbournians.
