Such a fun, kickass collection! Motörhead’s “Whiplash” is better than the original.

This was a great idea with the release of the David Bowie cover video, Heroes. However there are way too many songs that Motrhead covered that are not on this release. If they were going to release another Motrhead album it should have been done right and not rushed.rThat said Lemmy may have thought the title of the album was rather clever 0OrWe're missing quite a list of songs that they covered though. Probably their most important cover of the existence of the band. How is Louie Louie not included? It single handedly kept this band alive. Had they not head into the studio to record that they would have quit and there never would have been a Motrhead.rMissing from this album:rLouie Louie (Richard Berry cver)rBeer Drinkers and Hell Raisers (ZZ Top cver)rThe Trooper (Iron Maide cver)rEnter Sandman (Metallica cver)rShout it out Loud (Kiss cver)rHighway to Hell (ACDC cver)rIt's A Long Way To The Top (ACDC cver)rNot entirely sure if these were with the rest of MotrheadrBack in the USSR (Beatles cver)rLet it Rock (Chuck Berry cver)rGood Rockin TonightrA few of these songs were released on non Motrhead titled releases. So they haven't been circulated as much as the others that are present on Under Cver. If you're a hardcore Motrhead fan, (and you should be) then you've already heard most of this material. Is there nothing else locked away in the vaults???? I find that extremley hard to believe that they don't have more previously unreleased cvers.

This is one of those albums I'm very on the fence about because when I jam its songs I'm having a great time and everything sounds great. However, from the cover art to the fact that each song, with the exception of "Heroes", has been previously released, screams cash grab and Motorhead has been the absolute opposite of that. Therefore, I cannot deny the fact that I enjoyed the album but there is no way I am going to pay and reward anyone who is behind this release which would have never seen the light of the day while Lemmy was alive.
