An album with no sense of self.
The album starts with an Opeth influenced burner that shows some strong songwriting and interesting ideas. The next
track is something right out of the 2006 metalcore songwriting book, it even has string skipping and a solo that literally
sounds something Shadows Fall played back in the day.
The rest of the album seems to be the usual assortment of metalcore cliches with slightly better instrumentation than
expected.
Production works well here despite the awful vocals.
