4.5 superb | Doctuses | July 1st 18 | I had the privilege of hearing Roland play twice before he suddenly passed away in 2016. Dyens was certainly the most famous contemporary classical guitarist and a composer perhaps second only to Leo Brouwer. Dyens' ability to arrange set him apart, just listen to his rendition of Dizzy Gillespie's A Night in Tunisia. Absolutely beautiful. Absolutely stunning.
