This is it; the best Stravinsky recording I have heard. Petrouchka is incredibly lush and
colorful, like actually walking through a Russian Fair, a sonorous delicacy. Rite, on the other
hand, is stark and harsh yet still gorgeous. It feels like getting punched in the guts (in the
best way possible). Fireworks is by no means as memorable, but it still serves as a nice way to
top off the compilation.
