It took several listens and an examination of the lyrics but this is shaping up to be a favorite of the year so far. There?s a lot to like with musical experimentation, strong lyrics, cohesive theme, and artist growth. No, it?s not the first two albums and skews more in the pop direction, but it?s pretty great for what it?s aiming at.
