After reviewing their first album I felt I a had to do this one as well which is more heavy rockin' and very silly lyrics. To start off the original drummer, Rik quit sometime before this album was completed leaving the other guys searching for a new drummer to fill in. Also, many of the original demos for this album were destroyed after a fire occured in their studio but here is the finished product:

Mike Francis: Lead Vocals/ Rythym Guitar
Hansen McDorn: Bass/Vocals
Dan Haney: Lead Guitar/Keyboards/Vocals
and introducing
Steve Johnson: Drums

And onto the tracks:

1. Flatulence is not a Virtue: We start from where we left off with more abnormal phrases appearing among some gritty and powerful guitar work but it is clear that Steve has yet to gel with his new bandmates as the drums are not very impressive and the friction factor against the other instruments. There is a increased amount in guitar solos, 3 to be exact and the all sound great with Mikes guitar growling away in the background. 4/5

2.Staples: Not very convincing, the the lyrics are bad and nothing much can be heard over the guitar fx obviously the EQ isn't right. However this is the only time steves drumming really goes with everything else it's just a shame he played best on a bad song. 2/5

3. My Friend Boris: Talk about strange! Too strange even! The intro involves an organ playing and some groovy bass work and all seems good until some choir boys start singing about some old git called Boris. I don't know what mad ethem want some bloody choir boys singing because it ruins it but the keyboard playing must be admired and so must the drum fill when all changes into hard rock and various shouting can be heard. At 6.54 this song is way to long for the quality it produces. 3/5 (for the hard rock at the end).

4. Clone Me: More mainstream than any other song by AlphaBluh that brings up memories of AC/DC. Probally the best song on the album with a good chorus and NO choir boys. The guitar work is super throughout with a strong solo really making the trck but yet again the drumming ain't great. 4.5/5

5.Disater Zone: Pacey punk is the name of the game but it reveals that speed doesn't always win and it ends so fast you can't really remember anything about it only that threr is some good singing and bad drumming. 3/5

6.Oscar, Betty and the Lemon Tree- PartII: We now come across are old love struck friends Oscar and Betty whom we now find out have 17 children with twins on the way. This song is quite similar to the first installment just stupider but with better guitar solos and more good singing from Mike. The song ends with what sounds like someone on the toilet laying a turd, very original. 4/5

7. God Loves My Genitals: You can probally guess that this song isn't very serious just by reading the title, and it's clear that the band are not taking their music seriously enough. The song is mainly based around some guy having a conversation with God about his genitals with some "farting Angels" in the background. This is a step too far. 1/5

8. Lost in Time: This is the only track with Rik Slumms on the drums and he shows just how good the band can be with his drum solo at the begining and solid work throughout. The lyrics are silly to a certain extent with Mike singing about "some transvestites flying red kites" and "Ghandi let one go thats what I shouldn't know". More decent guitar work and some nice keyboard playing as well but the chorus is a let down as it has no atmosphere. 4/5

9.The Ending to End all Endings: Silly but dramatic ridiculous but technical, I can't really get my head around this song, one minute it's serious with some strings playing and pounding drums then it goes all loony with various spazzed up voices singing. There are moments when I think I like this song but am proved wrong by the OTT cartoon voices. Dan shows us more talent ripping some brilliant guitar work out but again there is the issue of the drumming. 3.5/5

This sounds like an interesting listen.

I've heard things, but now it's time for a bit of a test drive.

Good job! :thumb:This Message Edited On 09.13.05

I don't even need to hear this album to know that it sucks. Although I don't know what the musicianship may be like, I'm sure I wouldn't like this. The album name isn't funny, the song titles aren't funny, and the band's name isn't funny. It reminds me of my humor back about 4 years; poop jokes and lame randomness.

I hate you AlphaBluh. May you endure aeons of torment in the firey pits of hell.

Nice review by the way.
