With vocals similar to that of Steven Wilson, they are almost always the soft side, never really turning on the fire, even though the band might be playing like it's the end of the world. Leads are not shreddy but they fit perfectly throughout the songs; always changing depending on what the moment calls for. Overall, Pendragon's Pure is definitely an album worth listening to for fans of progressive bands like Riverside, Porcupine Tree or Sylvan.
