Don't let my rating deceive you. Hate Takes Its Form has quite a number of good riffs. The production is good, albeit a bit over polished. The main problem is that the riffs are too monotonous and are not varied enough. The guitarists are too reliant on the chugga chugga style present in a lot of groovy metal. Don't get me wrong, this is better than Six Feet Under. It's next to impossible to distinguish between songs. This has to be one of the most repetitive albums I've ever heard. Being that it is repetitive, it lacks replay value, and that is something I look for in an album.
