This is the kinda Swedish Chainsaw death metal that makes me stronger, I can feel it, my bones are thickening, my veins increasing in size to accommodate the extra blood I am creating, the electricity in my brain lighting up the night. The people in town fear me. They do not understand. I will make them understand.

'Rot of Ages' pulls no punches, but also is very adamant about getting on with it, leaving very little breathing room. It's all quite exhausting, but certainly worth the spin, if you miss the olden death and black metal days with heavy riffs and a crisper sound.
