Listening to this release, it's a shame that the band decided to try and throw off such a delightful sonic foray into the trip-hop soundscape. The album see's the band at a five piece, and unlike other trip-hop groups the "hop" is here in far more force. Spoken word rhyming segments, free-form scratching, hip hop beats, and wonderful female vocals courtesy of Stern really set this release head and shoulders above the competition. though the band would later move on to other styles, this is the one that remains their masterpiece. You owe it to yourself to check it out, and for those rain days that need a soundtrack.
