0.0 | Aids | November 18th 09 | Not that I listen to a whole lot of classical music, but from what I've heard, these
recordings top them all. The Nocturnes themselves are superbly written and contain some
very intriguing classical music ideas. The playing on this recording, by Biret, is flawless
and full of pure emotion (like I would imagine Chopin intended). The quiet/loud dynamics to
be found on each piece are absolutely stunning (and keep the listener adjusting the volume
of his speakers when his roommates are trying to sleep). This is about as good as it gets
folks.
**I'm not sure if this should technically be under the section for Fryderyck Chopin or
not. Maybe someone could write in my shoutbox if they know the answer.
