A.S.A. Crew, Maximum the Hormone's very first release, showed a band that had potential, but the members themselves were (as to be expected) quite inexperienced; the production quality and Daisuke's unrefined vocals did not help. It's still a passable effort, yet an inconsistent one at that.

Yeah, this really isn't that great. It's some great old-school thrash (kind of reminds me of Suicidal Tendencies), but it's clearly noticeable that the band had yet to capture their "sound" that set them apart from everyone else out there. 2.8/5
