Slug was an experimental noise rock band with two bassists that played sludgy noise rock. nowhere do you get to hear them rock out harder than on this compilation of non-album tracks that they originally released on singles/splits/comps between 91 and 94. it kicks ass. it's got awesome covers of Unsane's Streetsweeper and Cherubs' Pink Party Dessert but those aren't even the best songs. the best songs are Freak of Nature, Elevator, Breathe the Thing Out, Godstopper, Rubberape and Borax. check it
