Probably my biggest gripe with the metalcore genre is the number of "middle of road" bands. Sure, lots of genres have them, but I just find so many metalcore bands just go through the motions and I could literally listen to half a dozen artists and would tune out thinking it was all the same. Nothing amazing, nothing terrible with this album ... just middling and so many other bands out there who do it so much better.
