Vacuus bring us a brief yet penetrating and memorable look at their field (black metal) with fast tempos, changing time signatures, angular dissonance and interesting song structures. Yet it's not at all removed from the undergruond scene of today. It's harsh, with noise and feeback oozing out of every pore. However, it's not so much from keeping your head high shouting out that this is "TRVE" and there's nothing you can do.
