Review Summary: If multiple genres met and became great friends, the result would be Cold Pizza.

I hand my friend Darah the cash, she hands me God in cd form. Cold Pizza is a local band from Fairview, PA that consists of Mckenzie Sprague, Xiola Jensen, and Bob Jensen a.k.a Agent Cool Blue, DJ BJ, etc. I can't really put them in a definitive genre, so I would call them experimental. They definitely push the musical boundaries, and their creativity is to die for. They haven't fully released the album to the public yet (release date info is just when I found out about it), but people can buy it, and once I got it, I was more than satisfied. The cd casing itself is amazing, as it is in the form of a pizza box. The booklet features artwork by the members, and more. Samples are like my favorite thing in the world, and this album is full of them. As soon as I got this cd, I immediately ran to a computer, popped it in, and listened to it from start to finish. These were my experiences:

We start the album off with a song called "I Can Hardly Wait". It's an awesome opener, and deserves to be the first song to come through your speakers. The song is about waiting for a late pizza boy, and then finally getting the pizza. Rating: 4/5

Next song on the list is "Boys". I wouldn't really call it a song, but it's still on the album, so I might as well review it! It is 12 seconds, and it begins with a news broadcast about the members robbing a pizza driver, followed by "ughh..boys". Rating: 3.5/5

After that, we get "No Anchovies". It's main style is reggae, and I like it a lot. In my opinion, this is one of the catchiest songs on the album, and one of the longest. In this song, they only want one thing, and one thing only, and that is for the listeners to "sing along with Cold Pizza". Rating: 4.5/5

Fourth is "Tickles". The lyrics are entertaining and make me smile, and the samples are my favorite on the album. However, this is one of my least favorite tracks off the cd. Don't let this song stop you though, cause it only gets better. Rating: 2.5/5

Next, we have "Bird Song". Samples of birds from the end of "Tickles" fade into this song, followed by 3 stick hits, and a "BIRDS!" gang chant. The main riff is sure to get stuck in your head for the rest of the day.
Rating: 3.5/5

The sixth song is "Late 4 Skool". We start out the song with samples to make it feel like you are at school, then the principal comes on the loudspeaker and says "Mckenzie Sprague, please report to the office. You have missed 75 days of school this month". The main genre in this song is old school hip-hop. It's not the best, but it sure as hell is better than the majority of hip-hop these days. Rating: 4/5

Next song: "Leave Me Alone". The song starts with a man called "Pizza Man" who has pizza for a head. He describes himself and consequences of certain things that can happen to him, and then it goes into the song. The song is about annoying little siblings, and it's quite catchy and entertaining. Rating: 4/5

Now, the cd offers us "Trampolene", which is my favorite song on the album. The environment the members set for the listeners makes it feel like you are dreaming, and it's the catchiest thing I've ever heard since "The Safety Dance". Rating: 5/5

The outro to the song is "Brain Freeze". The whole song is a good closing instrumental with frequent samples of "This song is brought to you by Cold Pizza". Overall, it is a nice closer, and it makes you want more once it's done.

If you have no creativity and don't still have a kid on the inside, this album is not for you, and that's too bad because it will for sure entertain even the most boring sack of crap on Earth, so all in all you are missing out if you don't take a listen. The only thing I disliked about this album was the length of it. A lot of songs are less than 3 minutes, and it makes you want more and more. In conclusion, I give this album a 4 out of 5, because it's not perfect, but it is truly mind-blowing.
