"Sexy 8 Beat" features MoMusu at a much more desperate time, shaking off all of their classy
backgrounds, to fit a much more "looser" and more "open" image. This album lacks the
hypnotizing rhythmic pattern that follows most MoMusu releases, and the only thing making
this not a complete crapfest, is the album saver "Aruiteru", the song that brought Sharan Q
back into the light, and brought back this album from sure destruction. The new wave MoMusu
isn't exactly as "glamorous" as it once was, and Tsunku may be losing his touch with catchy
J-pop classics. This album is no exception, and Tsunku may have finally buried MoMusu's
overcharged and energetic image once and for all...
