It took a long time for me to really be able to get into The Party Foul!, more than usual for me. For most people this could be the absolute worst example of any kind of "core" you could label it under, but give it time and it quickly shoves itself into the guilty pleasure list. Filled with breakdowns, horrible screaming vocals and lazy/generic musicianship, it makes you wonder just how a band like this got as far as they really have. BUT there is always something positive, and that's the catchiness of this album. Songs like 'Fuhgettaboutit' and 'If This Were Gotham City' feature some extremely catchy sung choruses, lead by a singer with more talent than anybody else in the group. A little long in length and sometimes "shaking my head" worthy, this has quickly become one of the guiltiest guilty pleasures I have ever listened too, and yet I continue to listen.
