3.0 good | Robbit | May 4th 16 | The disconnect between the band's proto-Goth Rock / Satanic image (which is also reflected musically on their debut) and the slick pop production of this album must have made this record a nightmare to market properly. It's also makes their actual intentions seem a bit unclear and difficult therefore to judge whether they actually achieved them. When I first bought this album, I thought it was little more than a 2nd rate novelty record. Judging it on the music alone, it's actually a half decent album. An interesting curiosity piece to scratch your head over.
