Shoplifting entered the Seattle landscape in early 2003, displaying a thirst for play and
experimentation, performing in elevator shafts and state capitol lawns, blindfolding audiences and
giving them instruments and microphones, and improvising performances. They've self-released a
cassette, actively organized against sexual violence in their community, and helped launch the
Seattle chapter of Bands Against Bush.
