AIDS was an underground Japanese hardcore punk band that first formed in 1989. Presumably due to their name, the group
went on to develop a fair-sized cult following during the early 1990's. In 1996, after almost several years together, AIDS
disbanded, and one of the members of the group, Hiroshi, went on to join the popular visual kei band Cascade.
