Aaron Lee Tasjan was born in Ohio (Aug. 24, 1986) where he taught himself guitar at the age of 11. He received a full scholarship to
Boston'sBerklee College of Music in 2006, but turned it down and moved to Brooklyn. In NYC he formed the band Semi Precious Weapons with
JustinTranter, Cole Whittle, and Dan Crean. The band worked with Toni Visconti on their debut We Love You. He left Semi Precious
Weapons toplay lead guitar with the New York Dolls, and In 2008 he formed his own band The Madison Square Gardeners. In 2013 he moved
to Nashville to focuson his solo career.
