Aeronautix are a band made up of 3 musicians, namely: guitar player David Weicht, drummer Fabian Fahrig and bass player Sascha Jörres. The band comes from Moers in Germany and have formed in 2007. The sound of the band's music is characterized by unconventional post rock clinging to clean melodies without much distortion while trying to avoid overly long passages of identical melodies often changing the tempo and the themes. The band demonstrated on their first EP also a sound devoid of special effects most post rock bands are known for opting for a back to basics approach which rooted them on the top of the genre they crave to change and rule.
