Aeternus
Aeternus initially began as a Norwegian black metal trio composed of Ares (Ronny Hovland), Vrolok (Erik Heggernes), and Morrigan (Nicola Trier). Over the years their sonic element would gradually morph from atmospheric black, towards Florida-style death metal, especially from 1999's Shadows of Old and onward. Currently Ares is the only surviving member of Aeternus, and fronts the group along with well-hardened members Dreggen (guitar), V'gandr (bass/backing) and the newly recruited Terris on drums. « hide |
