Rising from the ashes of the UK's Salem Orchid, Akercocke ispossibly the greatest black/death metal fusion to ever gracethe metalscene.Though much of their notoriety comes fromtheir satanic and sexual themes as well as appearing informal attire (the band believes indressingwell while playingwell), their music is the highest quality extreme metal.
