The music of Angel Snow is a lot like her name: Moving, ethereal and at times, chillingly honest.
As this rising singer songwriter preps her third full-length album, she is giving fans a preview of her evolving sound with the release
of single “I Need You.” To create the accompanying music video, Snow and her team voyaged from Nashville to Detroit, where a

As this rising singer songwriter preps her third full-length album, she is giving fans a preview of her evolving sound with the release
of single “I Need You.” To create the accompanying music video, Snow and her team voyaged from Nashville to Detroit, where a
wasteland of architectural ruins set the stage for the song about addiction.
“It’s raw and emotional,” she says of the as-yet-untitled album. “But it is also about real things which people have to deal with. You
have to be willing to face the truth. Through my music, I want to help people overcome. True compassion is when you are willing to
sit in the dark with a person and share their experiences.”
Snow’s upcoming project showcases her journey into a new sonic landscape, blending electronic elements with the viscerally raw
songwritingthat first attracted fans to her music a decade ago. As always, her enigmatic, imagery-filled lyrics are tinged with
promise and ultimately cull hope from tragedy.
During the last year, Snow released the tracks “Secret” and “More Than Ever,” providing the first taste of an alternative, electronic
sound.
In 2016, she will debut her third album, and embark on another international tour, heading overseas with Matthew Perryman Jones.
Snow is an established songwriter who was dubbed “Nashville’s next stealth pop weapon” by MusicRow magazine’s Robert K.
Oermann. Her prior work has been recorded by acclaimed Grammy winner Alison Krauss, amongst others, and her famed
collaborators have hailed her as the “next great American songwriter.”
Snow’s previous releases include a self-titled album, Angel Snow, and her debut, Fortune Tellers, released in 2007. Her music has
also appeared on several compilations including the highly acclaimed Nashville Indie Spotlight series. « hide |
