Apocalypse were a Swiss thrash metal band formed in Geneva in 1984. They were heavily influenced by Metallica, going so far as to recruit producer Flemming Rasmussen to help with their debut album, and even managed to tour with their idols in their home country in the 90s. The group disbanded in 1994 following the release of their sophomore album.
