Singer / songwriter Polly Mackey hails from North Wales. Her influences include the rock stylings of PJ Harvey and the Jesus and Mary Chain. Her musical journey began in the shoegaze band Deaf Club, but she now expresses herself with an electronic palette that still retains an organic feel. She resides in Margate (or in 2019 at least), where she runs a book shop and owns a whippet called Captain.
