Avaeras is a dark death metal band from Knoxville, TN formerly known as Blood Upon Thorns and summoned to bring forth apocalyptic orations unto an unsuspecting world. Recorded during the last months of 2022, Avaeras emerges from the mountains of East Tennessee with their debut demo writhing with the cosmic power of early Morbid Angel meets Incantation and entangled with strains of bands such as Disincarnate, Killing Addiction, Seance, Coffin Texts, early Belphegor, and Drawn & Quartered while maintaining a forward thinking edge and abyssal atmosphere.
