The alter ego of Jasbinder Mann, a man who thought he could become a genius, had a few more genes than everyone else, and has certainly never written a spherical song, Babylon Zoo struck gold in 1996 with the release of Spaceman, a song that proved to be one of the more spellbinding one hit wonders of the 1990s. The commercial failure of his second album, 1998's King Kong Groover, sealed Babylon Zoo's fate as a footnote in musical history.
