Butt Trumpet are a punk band from Los Angeles, California. First formed in 1990, the group released their first album in 1994, "Primitive Enema",
which became a local smash for its highly obscene yet humorous subject matter. Butt Trumpet initially went on a hiatus in 1997, which led to a chunk
of the lineup forming the popular band Betty Blowtorch. In 2003, however, Butt Trumpet reunited, and have been active since with a revolving-door
lineup centered around the only original member left, Thom Bone, until the group disintegrated again by 2011. It can be assumed that Butt Trumpet
have since split up once more.
