Chalk was a short lived underground rap metal group from Detroit that first formed in 1994. The group released only one album, 1996's "Dead World", and split in 1998. Although largely unsuccessful upon its release, it has since garnered a small degree of infamy due to its highly graphic violent lyrics, most specifically garnering some controversy with "Walls of Tha Coffin", which described the acts of a brutal child killer and pedophile.
