Chihiro Onitsuka, born October 30, 1980 in Miyazaki, is a female Japanese popular music singer-songwriter. In her childhood, she began to make some poems by the effect of Western music, especially of Jewel. Her poems were praised by many people including her parents, but soon after she noticed that her poems were not so good, so she made some more poems very hard. When she was the 3rd grade of high school, she took the Virgin ARTIST AUDITION with her original song “call”, and won the grand prix. After she graduated from high school she moved to Tokyo on March, 1999, and debuted.
