Boris Bunnik views techno through a wide lens. In 2011, Delsin put out Escapism, which, thanks to its confident assembly of aqueous atmospheres, arguably still stands as Bunnik's crowning achievement. He followed up the record in 2013 with Kinetic Image, an ambitious project that moved away from standard arrangements and chord structures towards a free-flowing, sound design-led approach.Conforce is only one of the monikers under which Bunnik operates, with others being the electro-leaning Versalife, the housey Vernon Felicity and the retro-futuristic soundscaping Hexagon. « hide |
