Confusion were a short lived Japanese electronica duo. They formed by frontman CMJK in late 1993, immediately after the indefinite hiatus of the cult group Cutemen, which he was the producer and backup singer for. Unlike Cutemen, Confusion managed to garner some very slight mainstream success, with their only full length album, 1995's "Diffusion", entering the Oricon charts at number 99, although it only stayed in the charts for one week. However, despite the potential of Confusion, the duo ended up splitting by 1997, and the brains of the duo, CMJK, went on to produce and write for countless other artists. However, in 2001, his original group, Cutemen, reunited, and, today, go on to have sporadic reunion shows every few years.
