Convex Level is a long-running alternative rock band from Japan that first formed in 1986. Their bleak and melancholic style
isconsidered to be groundbreaking, and the group themselves are often referred to as godfathers of Japanese emo. Convex
Level underwent a slight hiatus throughout 2005 and 2006, but started touring once more in 2007, and have since been
releasing material and touring regularly.
