In 2008 Mike sat down on his friend Aarons drum kit and started jamming with Robert. Instantly he fell in love with drumming, went and bought a kit and began seeking out teachers to learn from. Over the next 12 months Robert and Mike practiced almost every day. At the end of that year they started writing their first songs. Unable to find a singer Mike took over vocals and soon enough they started playing out.
Initially they went on to form Molock - an ambitious 2 man progressive metal band that proved more ambitious than practical without the power of a bass behind the progressive nature of the music. After a 2 year long bass player search they decided to reform the band and create songs with a more guitar/drum centric dynamic.
This project eventually became Corporate Elvis.
