Cyril Snear were a progressive rock band from Manchester, UK (home of Oceansize and Amplifier), drawing from influences from bands such as Oceansize, Radiohead and The Mars Volta to create an angular, dissonant and post-rock-leaning sound. As of the end of 2015, the band has split up into different projects. The band ceased to be after a final gig in June 2015.
