Das:Vasser was an influential underground Japanese visual kei alternative metal band that first formed in 1998. Although initially
having a loud, abrasive metal style with tons of gothic elements embedded within, the group later also experimented with
industrial as well. In 2002, after only four years, Das:Vasser split, but reunited in 2009. During their revival, Das:Vasser notably
put up some of their music on iTunes, making them one of the very, very few underground visual kei bands to do so. In 2012,
Das:Vasser disbanded once more.
