Dauntless are a Thrash/Death Metal band from Helsinki, Finland. Having started as 'Maniax' in 1991, they released two demos in the mid 90's, before changing their name.
Their current line-up is as follows:
Olli Määttä: Bass, Santeri Salmi: Drums, Micko Hell: Vocals, Riku Katainen: Guitar, Sami Helle: Guitar
Former bass player Tuomo Tukkimäki left the band in 2005, shortly after the recording of their 7th demo, 'Obey - Erase - Obey.'
Former vocalist Ari Nieminen departed from Dauntless in December 2009 in order 'to focus his energy and time into his studies and spending time with his family.' He can be heard on all the band's releases, including their latest full-length, titled 'Death Row Poet.'
