Deborah’s songs have been consistently placed in soundtracks ranging from film (Fifth Form) to national TV (Animal Planet’s Horse
Power: Road To The Maclay), as well as the sci-fi web-series The Extent. Sweet Leaf Tea has also used her songs on a music
oriented website promoting their nationally distributed brand. Deborah’s songwriting has won accolades in competitions such as VH1’s Song of
the Year Contest (three Runner Up awards) and the Billboard Songwriting Contest (four Honorable Mentions).
Steadily making her mark on the Long Island and New York music scenes, she’s graced the cover of Good Times Magazine as well as
Aural Fix Communiqué (where she was voted “Queen of the Long Island Music Scene”). Deborah has also made several TV and radio
appearances and has performed throughout the East Coast.
Classically trained at the renowned University of Miami School of Music, her performing experience has ranged from musical theatre to
fronting rock bands. Deborah’s life experiences have taken her on a transient journey, having lived in New York, Miami and Washington, DC,
all the while sculpting her storytelling and inspirations to write.
