Emerald is a band founded in 1995, in Switzerland Düdingen. Emerald has released 8 albums until now. The first album Rebels of Our Time and second album Calling the Knights, were produced from the band itsself and all the later albums were normal studio productions. The only remaining original members are Michael Vaucher and Thomas Vaucher. The albums have a fantasy and epic theme, also the influences in this band is early heavy metal, from bands like Iron Maiden, Virgin Steel and so on. Later on they added a power metal style to their songs too.
