Far From Reality is a progressive metal six-piece act.. It was founded in July 2010. Most of the members met as students in the music program of the Collège Lionel Groulx. They are: Ludovick Daoust on the keys, Christian Valois on the bass, Renaud Viero on the drums, Vincent Bruneau and Marc Brazeau on the guitars, Simon Sullivan on lead vocals.Their colourful metal riffs, with various progressive rhythm sections and beautiful swirling keyboard notes offer a solid melodic, virtuoso music not unreminiscent of the band’s favorite group: Dream Theater.
